Isn’t it cool that General Conference was on Easter this year!? I feel like it made the day extra special, and I loved all the talks that centered around Christ and the Atonement. There were so many uplifting and wonderful messages shared! I really loved Linda K. Burton’s talk about lifting one another and being a supportive spouse. I’ve even included one of her quotes in my collection this time. Speaking of which, here they are—a few of my favorite quotes from April 2015 General Conference.
“The service that counts most is usually recognized by God alone.”
~ Michael T. Ringwood
“Our actions are the evidence of our belief and become the substance of our faith.”
~ L. Whitney Clayton
“When we seek to complete rather than compete, it’s so much easier to cheer each other on.”
~ Linda K. Burton
“His grace helps us become our best selves.”
~ Dieter F. Uchtdorf
“Our faith can reach beyond the limits of current reason.”
~ Rosemary M. Wixom
“Don’t let something you don’t fully understand unravel everything you do know.”
~ Kevin W. Pearson
Aren’t those just so inspiring! Do you have a favorite quote from this past conference? Or maybe a favorite of one of my designs?
Another talk I enjoyed was by Dale G. Renlund. I loved the clever way he emphasized the importance of perseverance as Latter Day Saints when he said, “If we don’t try, we’re just latter-day sinners; if we don’t persevere, we’re latter-day quitters; and if we don’t allow others to try, we’re just latter-day hypocrites. As we try, persevere, and help others to do the same, we are true Latter-day Saints.”
I really liked that quote, but thought it might be too lengthy for a small printable design. I still wanted to mention it though, because I feel like it’s a really important point to remember—try, keep trying, and allow others to do the same.
If you like these designs, be sure to check out the ones I did last year for both the April and October General Conference sessions.
So, what was your favorite talk this past General Conference? Was there another quote or topic that stood out to you? I’d love to hear your thoughts.
